Tina Russell is the Professional Conduct and Ethics Lead at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), UK. Tina led a consultation to review and update the CIPD Code of Conduct – and an updated Code of Conduct and Ethics was launched on 1 January 2023. The updated Code has new clauses on social media; dealing with disputes; speak up in the workplace and more. Tina leads work to support members with ethical practice and has written an ‘Ethics Guide for Employers’ and spoken widely on ethical practice and whistleblowing. At this plenary session Tina will address how to bring ethics to life in an organisation followed by a workshop that will offer the chance to work through some ethical dilemmas.
